Multimedia on Cooking and Eating Activities, Human Communication Group, IEICE
* Our Mission [#z7ae02c5] - tba "Food" is one of basic human daily activities, not only for survival, but also it is deeply related to our daily life in many aspects such as health, education, culture, entertainment, and communication. However, due to the aging society, nuclear families, and changes of lifestyles, communication through food, acquisition, transmission, and succession of food culture and cooking techniques, health management by meals, and so on, are gradually becoming difficult. Efforts to solve and support these problems by information technology are now seen everywhere in recent years as various information devices have become popular in ordinary households and daily life. Following this trend, at the IEICE Technical Committee on Cooking and Eating Activities (ex-Cooking Media), we invite speakers from researchers on food culture and health medicine, professionals from the industry and government organizations related to food, in order to study and discuss from a broader perspective than just engineering viewpoints by our members. Thus, we aim to support and improve our diet by making use of information technology. * Organizing Committee [#s18a99a1] - Organizing Chair -- Yoko Yamakata (Kyoto Univ., Japan) -- Ichiro Ide (Nagoya Univ., Japan) - Organizing Co-chair -- Ichiro Ide (Nagoya Univ., Japan) -- Takuya Funatomi (Kyoto Univ., Japan) -- Keisuke Doman (Chukyo Univ., Japan) -- Yoko Yamakata (Univ. of Tokyo, Japan) - General Affairs Chair -- Kazuaki Kondo (Kyoto Univ., Japan) -- Keisuke Doman (Chukyo Univ., Japan) -- Kyoko Sudo (Toho Univ., Japan) -- Atsushi Hashimoto (Kyoto Univ., Japan) - General Affairs Co-chair -- Yumi Nakamura (National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology(AIST), Japan) -- Takuji Narumi (Univ. of Tokyo, Japan) -- Kyoko Sudo (NTT Media Intelligence Laboratories, Japan) * Contact [#rca8581d] - [[sigcea-contact@ccm.media.kyoto-u.ac.jp>sigcea-contact@ccm.media.kyoto-u.ac.jp]]
